Role: Quality Engineer – Hardware Lifecycle & Compliance (Remote)
The Quality Engineer is an entry-level position responsible for ensuring refurbished hardware, extended warranty processes, and IT asset lifecycle programs meet Golden Insight’s rigorous technical and compliance standards. This role interacts with multiple teams across refurbishment, procurement, compliance, and global suppliers to implement and uphold Golden Insight’s quality goals.
How You’ll Create Impact
- Develop and apply procedures, specifications, and quality standards for refurbished enterprise hardware and lifecycle processes.
- Contribute to corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA) for warranty, refurbishment, and compliance workflows.
- Collect and analyze performance and quality data for refurbished assets and warranty claims.
- Identify critical procedures, tools, and supplier requirements to ensure flawless refurbishment and extended warranty execution.
- Collaborate with suppliers and global sourcing partners to ensure all materials and processes meet Golden Insight’s standards of discretion, security, and reliability.

Your Background
- B.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline. Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree with a recognized quality engineering certification (e.g., CQE).
- Experience in corrective and preventive action (CAPA) procedures preferred.
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) and/or experience in IT hardware lifecycle, enterprise hardware refurbishment, or warranty management preferred.
- Knowledge of ISO/IEC standards relevant to IT asset management and data handling is a plus.
- Proficient in English (B2 or higher, both written and spoken). Additional languages welcome.
