As an Accountant within our Finance Team, you will be responsible for preparing draft management accounts on a monthly basis, maintaining bookkeeping records for Golden Insight Solutions Limited, monitor debtor positions and assist with client invoicing requirements. Your responsibilities will also include preparation of journal entries, monthly management accounts, interaction with external consultants and/or auditors, and other duties as necessary to aid an efficient finance function.
You’ll report to the Senior Manager, Accounting. You’ll contribute to the team and the success of the business by delivering operational excellence consistent with IFRS, conforming to the highest standard of ethics, and helping develop future leaders for the business.
During a Typical Day, You’ll
- Assist with preparation of journal entries and schedules for month end close process
- Assist with preparation of monthly management accounts
- Assist in collation of records requested by external auditors, and otherwise assisting with the annual audit process
- Liaise with external advisors as required
- Assist with special projects as assigned
- Demonstrate your knowledge of IFRS and show a desire to gain an understanding of new developments. Having a working knowledge of US GAAP is considered a bonus
- Update and maintain quarterly accounting memorandums, as assigned
What You Bring To The Role
- Undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in Accounting
- 1+ years PQE in a financing accounting role. Big 4 experience and industry experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge and experience about IFRS accounting standards Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Experience with Oracle ERP a plus
